Consultant spinal surgeon
Being a complex spinal surgeon, I deliver all spinal treatments from top to bottom, like microdiscectomy, lumbar fusion, ACDF, decompressions, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, injections, radiofrequency ablation (rhisolysis), sacroilliac joint treatment etc.
My role is to empower patients by assisting them in making decisions. Each patient has different treatment expectations and risk tolerance, so I believe that a thorough examination and open communication with the patient and, in some cases family members, is essential.

About Mr Ivan
Mr Vidakovic became a Doctor in 2005 after graduation from medicine in Croatia, he then went on to complete his postgraduate PhD, having completed a year of complex spinal training in Europe, Mr Vidakovic then completed a short travelling fellowship in Stanmore, London and after that he was invited to come to the UK to work.
He subsequently undertook two further fellowships in the UK, Advanced Spinal Fellowship in Leeds (National Programme) and BOA National Clinical Leadership Fellowship.
Mr Vidakovic has multiple international publications and presentations. He qualified as a Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon and was appointed as a Consultant Spinal Orthopaedic Surgeon including shoulders, hips and knees in 2011.
In 2021 Mr Vidakovic became part of Medical Advisory comittee at The Fitzwilliam Hospital.
